Algenol is proud to offer paid internships to well-qualified college and university students majoring in the STEM disciplines - Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. In recent years, students from Florida Gulf Coast University and Georgia Institute of Technology have had the opportunity to work with Algenol’s scientists and engineers on projects important to the advancement of Direct to Ethanol technology. Algenol welcomes and encourages applications from any student dedicated to applying classroom lessons to actual scientific and engineering R&D at laboratory and demonstration scale in a dynamic industrial and entrepreneurial setting.
Invitations to interview for Summer Internships are typically extended in the month of April of each year. If you think you can help us build out our commercial demonstration module, have a passion for engineering and are a student with recent relevant course work, please send a current resume and cover letter to jobs@algenol.com. Algenol is excited about providing opportunities not only to students, but also to educators that seek to further develop their scientific knowledge and skills in order to inspire the many students they interact with on an on-going basis. As part of our commitment to STEM education, Algenol is proud to offer paid internships to local educators. The Educator Internship Program is designed to give middle and high school teachers hands-on exposure to the biotechnology industry, providing them a real world point of reference to motivate their students and instill STEM fundamentals and a passion for the possible.
