Medical, Life and Disability Coverage

A variety of quality health insurance options are available from Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida with a minimal waiting period for enrollment. Some employees select a traditional health insurance plan and other employees that have selected a Health Savings Account (HSA) eligible plan receive the benefit of an Algenol contribution to their personal Account.

Dental coverage is provided at no cost for employees, with several options available also covering their spouse or domestic partner and their children.

Each employee receives complimentary life insurance with the opportunity to purchase additional insurance at affordable group rates. Eligible employees also receive short and long-term disability coverage.

Retirement Planning

Algenol offers a 401(k) saving plan to assist employees with retirement planning. Group and individual educational sessions are provided with investment professionals to assist staff with identifying and pursuing their long-term goals.

Time Off

All employees start with two weeks of vacation time and a certain number personal days for their discretionary use on an annual basis. Also, the Company is closed the week between Christmas and New Years Eve and other standard holidays throughout the year.
